There are lots of Haitian restaurants in the dorchester area. But nothing compares to Bon Appetit. It's clean and the service is decent. It's the most popular take-out place, but it also has seatings. And when it comes to buying tickets for community events, Bon Appetit is also the most popular place.

Restaurante Cesaria, named after famous Cape Verdean folk singer Cesaria Evora, offers a calm environment for lunch and dinner. Right in the heart of dorchester, it also offers the perfect pianno bar atmosphere. The appetizer menu has some of the best grazers: Mandioca Frita (Fried Yuca), Linguica (Well-presented Fried Portuguese sausage with tomatoes), etc... For main course, there are so many choices. But my favorite is the Cabritada (Fried goat). But the fish is always delicious. Fish of hte day is often the Black Tilapia.
